Ultraviolet (UV) Systems

Chemical-Free 254 nm UV-C Disinfection: Instant Elimination of Microorganisms

Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection targets microorganisms at the 254 nm germicidal wavelength. UV-C photons penetrate bacterial and viral cell walls, disrupting their DNA/RNA molecular bonds and preventing cellular replication. Because it does not rely on chlorine or ozone, UV leaves zero chemical disinfection by-products (DBPs), trihalomethanes, or residual odors.

Built with electropolished AISI 304 or 316L stainless steel chambers, high-efficiency electronic ballasts, and optional quartz sleeve wiper systems.

Advantages & Features

  • Effective UV-C germicidal dose (> 30 - 40 mJ/cm²) providing 99.99% pathogen kill rate
  • Instantaneous disinfection with zero chemical contact time or residual odors
  • Electropolished AISI 304 / 316L stainless steel pressure reactor chambers
  • High-efficiency low-pressure amalgam and medium-pressure lamp technologies (9000-12000 hrs life)
  • Online calibrated UV intensity (UVT) sensor and digital performance monitoring
  • Manual or automatic mechanical wiper mechanism keeping quartz sleeves clean
